It's therapeutic.
So how is a game therapeutic? By designing the game on practices that are therapeutic. Most motor skill recovery is based on the science of neuroplasticity which is the brains ability to use good brain cells to take over for damaged brain cells. Neuroplasticity is triggered by performing increasingly difficult repetitive exercises or motions over time.
Traffic Controller 2 takes advantage of the neuroplasticity of the brain by presenting the player with repetitive activities that can be increased in difficulty. This triggers the neurons in the brain to utilize plasticity to recover movement that was lost with the damaged cells. |
